Kristin focuses her practice on criminal and civil litigation, as well as acting as corporate counsel to a Firm client.

After graduating from law school, Kristin served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Joan Zeldon at the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, where she worked on both complex civil litigation matters and landlord tenant disputes. Prior to joining Coburn & Greenbaum, Kristin also served as an Assistant United States Attorney at the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia. While at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Kristin prosecuted persons accused of domestic violence misdemeanors, including assault, threats, destruction of property and cruelty to children. She has also written numerous appellate briefs, and has argued before the District of Columbia Court of Appeals.

Kristin received her J.D. and a Certificate in Law and Public Policy, cum laude, from the Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law. She also holds an M.Sc. in Evidence Based Social Work from the University of Oxford and a B.A. in Government from the College of William and Mary. Kristin is barred in both Maryland and the District of Columbia. She is also a member of the Thurgood Marshall American Inn of Court, and recently completed training to become a Court Appointed Special Advocate for Children.
